Parent Events

Enlightened Discipline © Parent Growth Seminars
Host an Enlightened Discipline Seminar in your community (church, social hall, child care center, country club). This is by far the most affordable option, although less customized. It is a great starter course in the Enlightened Discipline philosophy and techniques.

• • Most seminars cost under $50 per person, are from 2-3 hours long and offer the “whole parenting team” discounts.

Our goals are for you to learn the Enlightened Discipline techniques so well that you are completely confident as you round the next bend in the next phase of parenting. Some parents are parenting alone and they can benefit from the objectivity of an outsider. Some are parenting as a team, which has it’s own set of downfalls but Phone Coaching creates personalized tips on how you can work on ways to back each other up, if you get stuck. Furthermore, our objective is for all parenting partners to know the process so innately that you'll be able make up your own answers to new conflicts, as they arise and your child's conflicts grow up as s/he grows.

MOST FLEXIBLE OPTION

“Phone Coaching”
Hourly Rate
One hour telephone coaching is very flexible and allows us to work with both/all of our calendars. Ideally, we would want to do this for four consecutive weeks. I block one full hour and I will speak to one parent or two in a conference call. In order for this to be the most successful, I'd advise parents take a few notes and make up some routine issues that you regularly deal with. There's nothing worse than going blank. During the phone consult I can give you several possible ways to respond to your child and we will make the best use of my time and your money. $50.00 /hr

Personalized in home “Block Coaching”
4 hours at your home
• All 4 hours will be accomplished in one visit 
• Plus a Freebie! Block Coaching will include a follow up (1 hour session) in a week… or a month for no additional cost. (The follow-up allows me some observation time, you some feedback, question and answer time and some interaction with your child). $500.00

“Start-Up” or “Boost-Up” Coaching
2 hour session
We can accomplish a lot in this short time. I will personally come to your home, observe your family dynamics in action, subtly coach you, work with your child and take precise notes to share with you in writing after the coaching. This is a perfect start or a great follow up after family changes, i.e. a new infant in the home, a move, etc.  $300.00

“Shadow Coaching”
4 hours scattered
• Imagine a personal parenting coach for: an hour at bedtime, another hour on a Saturday during the day, another at dinner time and another time at a restaurant…you choose your trouble times…I will teach you the steps and the attitude for Enlightened Discipline.
• I will shadow, observe and interact with your family in that hour, and take helpful notes, helping you to use Enlightened Discipline techniques. You will learn the Enlightened Discipline process so that you will be able to put it to use easily as your child and issues change with your family. I will coach you to interact with your child with success, building and practicing the skills. $600.00
